The Presbyterian Student Organization is involved with a number of service projects in and around the community.

The PSO Transportation Group is a service project of the PSO providing a network for students who do not have adequate transportation to get from Emporia to other major cities in the state of Kansas. While the focus is on international students, any student is allowed to participate once they have signed the liability release form [a web version of the form will be avaliable soon]. Those people who are interested in being drivers should contact the PSO directly. While this is a service of the PSO, donations to drivers (to cover gas and other expenses) are always appreciated. Angel Food is a service that the PSO, The Emporia Presbyterian Church, and other churches in the area are actively involved in. The program allows people to buy boxes of high quality, fresh food (including meat) at low prices for themselves or for others having financial difficulties. (http://www.angelfoodministries.com)
